John A. Collins, III
John A. Collins, III, is a Director with Suisman Shapiro He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Holly Cross in 1978, and graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1981. While in law school he was a member and Notes Editor of the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law. Mr. Collins is the author of "Self-Determination in International Law: The Palestinians."
Mr. Collins was recently honored in 2005 as a Life Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation for demonstrating superior legal ability and devotion to the welfare of the community, state, and nation, as well as to the advancement of the legal profession. Mr. Collins is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut State Bar Association, New London County Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Connecticut Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Matthew E. Auger
Attorney Matthew E. Auger is a Director with Suisman Shapiro. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1980 and graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1984. While in law school he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and a recipient of a Birzon Award. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Auger serves as a Captain in the United States Naval Reserve, and is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut State Bar Association, New London County Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers' Association.
